Los Gatos' Manresa Ranks in Zagat's 'Top Food' Category

Establishment at 320 Village Lane continues to earn accolades for its excellent cuisine and service.

Los Gatos' Michelin-starred Manresa restaurant, 320 Village Lane, has finished as a top contender for "top food" in Zagat's newly released 2014 San Francisco Bay Area Restaurant Guide,

"Exciting, unexpected and flawless" is how devotees describe the "special experience" at chef-owner David Kinch's fine restaurant, the website said.

It described its menu as "sublime," and "inventive" and inspired and sourced from its own biodynamic gardens.

" ... The 'hours'-long meals served in the 'sophisticated' dining room are elevated by 'wonderful' wines and service that's like 'precision choreography,' and though it's all 'horribly expensive,' there's a lounge menu, too," the website said in its review.

Manresa rankings, out of 30 points possible, were 27 for food, 26 for decor, 27 for service. The cost of the meal was listed at $169.
