Los Gatos Courtside Club Changes Name to Bay Club Courtside

The Courtside Club, 14675 Winchester Blvd., has announced it's changed its name to Bay Club Courtside.

The Club is now affiliated to the Bay Club San Francisco, which is part of the Western Athletic Clubs.

Courtside Club spokeswoman Heather Brown explained the reasons for the name change: "The Bay Club has been an iconic brand in San Francisco for decades. The company is paying homage to that distinctive brand by renaming the company and its clubs -- creating a comprehensive collection of sports resorts all with the dedication, culture, offerings, and service standards that The
Bay Club brand has been renowned for."

To celebrate the holiday season and its name chage, the business is hosting a free family fun day at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10.

The event will include arts and crafts, face painting, singing, inflatable slide and toddler unit and gaming lounge for tweens, 10 years and older.

Courtside Club, a Pacific Sports Resort, is located on nearly 10 acres and was named “Best U.S. Facility, 2010” by the United States Tennis Association.

Courtside Club features three indoor courts and 15 US Open DecoTurf outdoor courts.

Members enjoy three swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an athletics gymnasium, pilates and yoga studios, the so-called "sanctuary spa," and eligibility to golf with the Northern California Golf Association.
