Black Cat Hats and Bags, 59 No. Santa Cruz Ave., is owned by Janet Dashiell and it specializes in hats for men and women.
The small and quaint store also carries accessories such as jewelry, handbags, perfume, scarves, gloves and gifts.
Its hat selection comes from lines such as Stetson, Scala, San Diego Hat, San Francisco Hat, Betmar, Wallaroo, Scala, Toucan, Something Special, Hat Stack and more.
Even though her store was busy when we visited recently, Dashiell was gracious enough to put on a hat for us so we could snap this photo.
