The gift-giving season is officially over, Santa’s presents are unwrapped and now shoppers with gift cards are hoping to cash in on Kohl's so-called "gold clearance" sales event offering between 60 and 80 percent off discounted merchandise.

There are big discounts on winter jackets for women such as wool-blend coats going for as low as $64.

Clothing items for juniors and children such as PJs are also going for as low as $12, according to the retailer. There's also an extra 20 percent off through Jan. 8 on baby, toddler and maternity items with promo code "babylove20."
