Following Injuries, Baby Einstein Recalls Jumper

Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers have been recalled by the manufacturer after the company received reports of 100 incidents involving the jumpers, including 61 injuries.
The most serious injury was to a 7-month-old boy who suffered a skull fracture. Other babies suffered cuts and bruises on their faces.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall announcement, “The ‘sun’ toy attachment on the activity jumper can rebound with force and injure the infant, posing an impact hazard.”
