Coldwell 410 No Santa Cruz Ave., announced Tuesday it recorded more than $1 billion in home sales last year.

"We've come a long way since the housing recession, haven't we?!" said Steve Maita, a spokesman for the real estate services company in announcing the news to Los Gatos Patch in an email.

In a press release, Maita said the Los Gatos office is one of the fastest growing residential real estate sellers in the Bay Area.

The $1 billion sales milestone was one more sign of the strong rebound in the South Bay's housing market and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's leadership in that market, especially the luxury segment, he said.

"We owe this remarkable achievement to our loyal clients in the Los Gatos area and throughout Santa Clara County, who have chosen to make Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage their number one choice in real estate services," said Doug Evans, manager of the Los Gatos office.
