AAA Moving to Carl's Junior Building

Automotive association is selling its building at 101 Blossom Hill Road.

has moved out of its location at Los Gatos Village Square on Los Gatos Boulevard to make way for AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah to move into the space on April 18.

Carl's Jr. was located in the one-story rotunda-like building inside the square, at 1540 Los Gatos Blvd., which also features and , among other businesses.

AAA will move its offices from a building it's owned for several years at 101 Blossom Hill Rd. and Winchester Boulevard on April 15 and will lease the space for an undisclosed amount, said AAA spokesman Matt Skryja.

"The burgers were really good," said Aki Homma, 15, a student at Los Gatos High School, who frequented the Carl's Jr. on weekends with friends. "I noticed last week it was gone. We came here on the weekends, but there weren't a lot of customers."

The nonprofit automotive business will continue to offer a wide array of travel, insurance and financial services at the new location, where about 20 employees will work, explained Skryja.

AAA hired a real estate agent to sell the Blossom Hill Road location, said Skryja.
