When was the last time you had a good laugh? You know, that loud and open-heartedly belly sensation only felt when you hear something actually funny?
Well, if you're having a hard time remembering, tonight at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, Los Gatos comic "Pharaoh," says he bets you money he can return many smiles to your frowny face during two shows he's presenting at the , 131 East Main St.
Also sharing jokes tonight will be Jason Mack, an up-and-coming comedian from Los Altos; Veronica Porras who opened for Dave Chappelle; and our very own Pharaoh, who has been on Comic View, Last Comic Standing, and even the hit TV show I (Almost) Got Away With It.
Pharaoh told Los Gatos Patch he's putting on the show because he believes that every adult in town deserves the right to go downtown and laugh sometimes.
He said that he believes in bringing big-time laughs to people in smaller communities.
"" as he's calling the show, is something that he said he's wanted to do for some time.
Don't bring the kids or the teenagers, please. Pharaoh's performance is of an adult nature, if you know what we mean.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 at brownpapertickets.com. Look for Laughing in Los Gatos, or you can purchase them at the door for $20.
Pharaoh said depending on the turnout tonight, he may start performing on weekends in town on a regular basis.
