Los Gatos Youth Theatre Presents '13'
Shows begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at Los Gatos High School.
Los Gatos Youth Theatre presents “13,” a hip Broadway musical about the labels that last a lifetime this weekend at Los Gatos High School, 20 High School Court.
The performances take place at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, July 18-19; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20 and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, July 21.
After his parents get divorced, 12½-year-old Evan Goldman has to move from New York City to Indiana.
Over the course of the story, Evan struggles to hang with the “cool kids," turn 13 and become a man.
According to the nonprofit youth theatre group, the show is hip, funny and infectious. Adults and teens also relate to its message: "Be authentic and your true friends will be naturally drawn to you."
