Got the Los Gatos Jazz Card?

One way to support Jazz on the Plazz is by purchasing the $100 jazz card, which has a $700 value.

The way Los Gatos Jazz on the Plazz Executive Producer Michael Jacobi explains it, the basic concept behind the 2013 Jazz Card is that you "spend a C note," or $100, and you receive $700 in free offers.

"This is the ultimate no brainer. Only the folks at Jazz on the Plazz would ask you for $100 and give you $600 in change," Jacobi said when asked about the cost of the card this year.

All proceeds benefit Los Gatos Music & Arts, the umbrella organization that sponsors the Los Gatos Music in the Park and Jazz on the Plazz concerts that begin June 16 and June 26, respectively.

This year's Jazz Card will be valid June 1 through May 31, 2014, he said.

"The Card," as it's referred to, allows one person to redeem wonderful treats provided by local businesses such as a free pizza and side salad from Willow Street Wood-Fired Pizza, free burger, fries and soda from Main Street Burgers, four bundlets from Nothing Bundt Cakes, etc.

It's available at www.jazzontheplazz.com, or weekly during the concert series.

The 2013 Jazz on the Plazz concert lineup is as follows:
