Poetry and the Art of Kate Curry

On March 21, 2011, Mayor Joe Pirzynski, will declare April as National Poetry Month in the town of Los Gatos, a first for the town. Poetry Los Gatos, a group lead by Parthenia M. Hicks, the Poet Laureate of Los Gatos, presents three events, free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, April 19th come out to the Los Gatos Council Chambers for Poetry and the Art of Kate Curry, from 6:30pm to 8pm. Poetry Los Gatos will read poems inspired by the work of Los Gatos artist, Kate Curry, who will then respond to the poets. To find out more about these and other Poetry Los Gatos events, go to: LosGatosCa.gov/Poetry.
