A modern, hip version of the classic Wizard of Oz, we meet Dorothy as a high school student. Longing to fit in and make friends, Dorothy finds herself magically transported via tornado to the the Land of Oz.
Set to soulful music, The Wiz, which orinated on Broadway and was an Oscar-nominated 1978 musical film starring Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, is a fun and funky delight for audiences of all ages.
In addition to the evening performances, matinees will be held Saturday, July 14, Sunday, July 15 and Saturday, July 21 at 2 p.m.
