FREE! Streaming Live Video of International Piano Competition

San Jose's 13th Annual International Russian Music Piano Competition is taking place now through Sun., June 10th.

More than 100 contestants from 12 different countries (Armenia, Australia, Canada, China, Georgia, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, Russia, S. Korea, Taiwan, and of course the U.S.) and some of the most talented young pianists in the world, will compete in four different age categories, from ages 6 to 32.

There is, of course, an emphasis on music by great Russian composers (Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Scriabin, etc.), but there’s also plenty of music by great non-Russian composers as well (J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, etc.).

Naturally, we would like to have as many people as possible come to the theatre (Le Petit Trianon on 5th St. at Santa Clara) and experience our competition live and in person. But we understand that not everyone can, so for you we have streaming live video made accessible through a link on our website homepage www.russianmusiccompetition.com.

Tomorrow, (Thurs., June 7) is the second round of the Advanced Category (ages 18-32) and Fri., June 8, is the final round of the Intermediate Category (ages 14-17).  Enjoy watching and listening to both rounds and some of the best young pianists in the world for FREE and streamed live directly to you!
