Educational History Tour

The Los Gatos History Museum is offering new Educational Tours for Children in 2011. History Tours introduce students, grades 2 through 4 to historical documents, artifacts and photographs within the Forbes Mill permanent collection and special exhibits, enhancing state curriculum content standards for history and social science.  Multiple learning activities include a hands-on project and storytelling session, designed to develop chronological thinking, historical interpretation and an understanding of the local community.

Tours are available Tuesday through Friday, April 5-8, and 26-28, 2011, at the Art Museum. They will begin at 9:00 am, 10:45 am, and 12:30 pm. Tours are approximately 75 minutes. For more information visit the Art Museum website.
