Camp Shakespeare!

 ,   Add to calendar
200 Blossom Hill Rd Los Gatos CA 95032  See map

July 16 – July 27 and July 30,  on the LGSF Stage in Oak Meadow Park

This unique camp experience is for kids aged 8-14 who want to discover theatre through the works of one of the greatest writers in the English language. Students will learn about what it was like in William Shakespeare’s time–as an actor, as a kid, and in everyday life. We’ll also use Shakespeare’s plays and characters as a springboard into the wonderful world of acting. Students will gain confidence, learn to express themselves, and experience working as a team through dramatic games, creative movement and voice exercises, and classical scenework. The camp will culminate with a performance of a medley of Shakespeare’s work performed by the kids on the Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival’s stage in Oak Meadow Park. An evening performance will be held on July 30st at 7pm

To register for all camps please visit www.lgsrecreation.org.  Camps can be found under Summer Camps > Performance Theatre & Arts.  Or, call LGS Recreation at 408-354-
