Wine and Jazz Benefit Los Gatos Library

The Mountain Winery in Saratoga and the Los Gatos Community Foundation teamed up to support the Los Gatos Library fundraising efforts to buy furniture, fixtures and equipment.

About 150 people visited the Mountain Winery in Saratoga Sunday afternoon to listen to live jazz music by the Pentimento band, eat hors d'oeuvres, drink wine and raise money for the new . The event was sponsored by the

Tickets were $30 at the door, with $10 donated to Friends of Los Gatos Public Library to buy furniture, fixtures and equipment for the new $12 million facility expected to be completed next year. The group needs to raise $2.1 million to completely furnish the new library.

Los Gatos Mayor Joe Pirzynski and former Los Gatos Mayor Sandy Decker were in attendance, as well as members of the Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga.
