Los Gatos Music & Arts Jazz on the Plazz continues its second decade of summer concerts at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 at Town Plaza Park, corner of West Main Street and Santa Cruz Avenue, in downtown Los Gatos. Performing will be Kenny Washington. The free concerts continue through Aug. 28 same time and same location. The public can begin reserving spots at the park beginning at 3 p.m., but no blankets are allowed on the grass. For sponsorship questions and donations call 408-483-3353, or jazzstandards1@aol.com.

SPORTISSIMO FREE FUN RUN/WALK IN LOS GATOS
Join Sportissimo's free fun run/walk at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at 786 Blossom Hill Road. All levels are welcome. Event consists of walking/running three miles from Los Gatos store, located inside King's Court shopping center, through Vasona Park and back. ANNUAL SENIOR PICNIC IN LOS GATOS
The Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation's 55-Plus program invites all seniors to its free annual picnic BBQ 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 on the Los Gatos Civic Center Lawn, 110 E. Main St. Event includes live music, good food, door prizes. Recommended donation of $5 at the door for non-members. Details: 408-354-1514.
