The Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave., presents the exhibition George Rivera: A Journey of Faith and Hope 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 11. The show is designed to illustrate Rivera’s artistic evolution through the last 30 years. Rivera utilizes a monochromatic palette and dramatic illumination in his large-scale portraits where, under different lighting, the human figure evokes inward unrest and emotion. Through various aesthetic developments during his career, the artist has developed a captivating body of work retaining a unifying and universal theme: the human condition. Today is the exhibit's last day.  Suggested donation is $5 per person. Details: 408-395-7386.
