Richmond's 'Too Toned' Workout Hottie is Trending on Internet

Planet Fitness staff reportedly told woman her body was intimidating other customers.

Trending nationwide from Richmond, CA:

Should gyms make an effort to make sure everyone is comfortable, even if it means asking the fit to cover up their toned bodies?

Planet Fitness, a national chain, bans what it calls "gymtimidation."

A California Planet Fitness Gym recently told a woman to cover up while working out because her toned body was intimidating to other people, KTVU reported.

Tiffany Austin said that she was 15 minutes into her workout when she was told by gym staff that they had had "some complaints you're intimidating people with your toned body. So can you put on a shirt?"

The company's website states that Planet Fitness wants everyone to be comfortable, in an environment free of judgment: "Members can relax, get in shape, and have fun without being subjected to the hard-core, look-at-me attitude that exists in too many gyms."

KTVU reported that Planet Fitness has a "lunk alarm" that is sounded if someone is dropping weights hard to make a noise or breathing too hard.

KTVU's full video report is attached to this post.
