Los Gatos Patch reader Kit Menkin took these two photos of three Burmashave signs with the words "We Want," "Alex Smith," and "Back!"

Menkin said a fan of benched Smith, who used to be the San Francisco 49er starter, posted the signs on Winchester Boulevard, near Lark Avenue, to show support for the star football athlete.

Smith, who's been replaced by Colin Kaepernick, suffered a concussion earlier this month during a game against the St. Louis Rams.
