Why Go: Come delight your palate and taste the wide selection of Estate and Reserve wines. While you visit, enjoy the beautiful vistas and the music playlist featuring 52 years of artists who have performed at the Mountain Winery.

When/Where: 5:30-10 p.m., Saturday, C.B. Hannegan's, 208 Bachman Ave.

Why Go: The  is holding its seventh annual Claws for a Cause Lobster Block party fundraiser supporting the Los Gatos High School Music Boosters, United Flight 93 Heroes Todd Beamer and Mark Bingham Scholarships and other local club and organizations.

When/Where: 2 p.m., Saturday, Menlo-Atherton High School, 555 Middlefield Rd, Atherton. 

Why Go: The Los Gatos High football team hits the field for the first time in 2011 this Saturday at Menlo-Atherton High. Los Gatos and M-A square off at 2 p.m., in the fall debut for the 'Cats. M-A defeated El Camino 43-7 last weekend in their season opener. Los Gatos, led by longtime head coach Butch Cattolico, opens the home schedule next Friday against perennial section title contender Oak Grove High.

When/Where: 12-4 p.m., Thursday through Sunday, , 4 Tait Ave., Los Gatos. 

Why Go: The Art Museum of Los Gatos is pleased to present Kristin Lindseth-Rivera: A Personal Journey and Ming Jing Wang: Migrations. The pieces of art have been on display since July 28 and will be on site through Sept. 16. Don't miss this chance to see some fabulous works of art in your own home town by two fantastic artists before it's too late.
