Patch Watch: Graffiti on Northbound Hwy 85 On-Ramp Divider Wall in Los Gatos

Tags have been left on the northbound Highway 85 on-ramp divider wall and metering light.

Los Gatos Patch reader Mike Matessa emailed us Nov. 7 to say he had submitted to Caltrans a report of graffiti seen on the northbound Highway 85 on-ramp divider wall, from Highway 17 in Los Gatos.

Matessa also reported seeing graffiti on the metering light on the same on-ramp.

Matessa did as Caltrans spokesman Bernard Walik suggested last week, which is to file formal graffiti and blight via the agency's online maintenance service request form.

Matessa said he spotted the ugly jibberish, similar to a larger one scribbled on the southbound Highway 85 Bascom Avenue off-ramp, between 6 and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Once again, the tagger has left the word "seenik" on the Caltrans infrastructure.
