It's a recurring nightmare for the town, but graffiti busters such as Sandy Vaurs and Eleanore Schock, with the Los Gatos Volunteers In Policing program, do a great job at staying on top of it.
As you're driving southbound on Highway 17, after you pass the Highway 9 exit, you see it. Grafitti on the north side of the overpass that crosses Highway 17.
Vaurs said she recently cleaned up more than 40 graffiti spots on the trail, between Old Town and Blossom Hill Road. This Wednesday, Vaurs said, she and Schock will go out to clean up more graffiti on the trail from Forbes Mill to Lexington Dam.
LOCATION: Los Gatos Creek Trail overpass, also known as the , that crosses Highway 17.
PROBLEM: Graffiti has been spray-painted in two spots on the north side of the overpass.
