Nights in White Satin and Memorial Service this Weekend

Get reacquainted or just get acquainted with the music of The Moody Blues, hear a violin performance, remember our fallen soldiers and test-run some running shoes: our suggestions to Get Out this weekend.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Friday, The Mountain Winery, 14831 Pierce Rd., Saratoga.

Why Go: Friday night is an opportunity to get reacquainted or just plain acquainted with the music of the '60s and '70s group The Moody Blues. If you are lucky, they will perform their never-to-be-forgotten song, "Nights in White Satin" and other pieces from their 1967 album Days of Future Passed.
