'Lost Parks' Filming Saturday in Los Gatos at Wildcat Railroad, Carousel

A group of local filmmakers and theme park aficionados, Great American Thrills, will be filming at the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad and the W.E. "Bill" Mason Carousel in Los Gatos Saturday -- May 24 -- from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

"Both the carousel and cars from the train have historical significance," said Kris Rowberry, one of the show's creators. "They were both a part of the 1915 Pan Pacific Exposition in San Francisco, which happens to be our next episode."

Great American Thrills is working on its "Lost Parks" project and looking to document and re-discover the "lost" amusement parks of the greater Bay Area.

Previous episodes featured the Manteca Waterslides and Santa's Village in Scotts Valley. See them here: www.youtube.com/user/GreatAmericanThrills or www.youtube.com/user/acenorcal
