Los Gatos Weekend Planner: March 7-10

Don't miss Urinetown this weekend!

Los Gatos High School presents its spring musical Urinetown at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, and March 14-16, with a matinee at 2 p.m. March 16 at the Los Gatos High School Theatre Prentiss Brown Auditorium, 20 High School Court. Reserved seats are $15, general admission is $13 an student tickets are $7. To purchase tickets in advance, visit lghs.net or call 408.354.2730. Tickets may also be purchased at the door one hour before showtime.

2ND FRIDAYS VARIETY HAPPY HOUR

Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation's 55-Plus Program presents Second Fridays
Variety Hour 4-6 p.m. Friday March 8, at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation
Center, 208 E. Main St. Featuring "The Skillet Likkers," a cowboy sing-along band. Recommended donation: $5. Everyone is welcome. Free parking and light refreshments and door prizes. Details: 408-354-1514.

THE MUSEUMS OF LOS GATOS' EXHIBIT PERPETUATION OF MYTH

The Museums of Los Gatos presents Perpetuation of Myth, a new exhibition at The Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave. Perpetuation of Myth, curated by Nazanin Hedayat Munroe is on view March 7-April 14. Perpetuation of Myth showcases the work of four Iranian-American artists with roots in the Bay Area whose works contemplate history, poetry and universal issues of connecting to heritage through art. MUSIC, DANCING, HULA AND POI SHOW AT MOUNTAIN CHARLEY'S

Harris back then said the department's records unit need time to research just how many of these sex crimes had been reported to police. I'll check with the district.
