C2 EDUCATION GRAND OPENING

MUSICAL IN A DAY

A dedicated group of Los Gatos High School seniors/Fisher Middle School mathematics teacher Jan Blasberg groupies, aka "Blasbergies" write, cast, direct and perform an original musical based on a decade's collection of original song lyrics about algebra and geometry written by Fisher students in a 24-hour time frame. The “Musical in a Day” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at the LGHS theater, 20 High School Court. A $5 donation is suggested at the door, with proceeds split between the LGHS music department and an intermediate school on Staten Island affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Pam Delgado and Jeri Jones, founding members of the rising Indie Americana band Blame Sally, perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday Jan. 12 at the The Woodshed inside the Keith Holland Guitars, 16905 Roberts Rd. The women have become an underground phenomena in the San Francisco Bay Area. Combine equal parts humor, raw emotion, unparalleled musicianship and life’s lessons: the result is The Pam and Jeri Show. Their original songs have had national airplay including feature and mainstream rotation on San Francisco’s KFOG and Starbucks XM Cafe. Tickets are $18 in advance, $22 at the door. Join Danny, Sandy and the rest of the Rydell High grads as they sing and dance their way through senior year and arguably the most popular movie musical of all time 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday Jan. 11-12 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 at The Retro Dome, 1694 Saratoga Ave.
