Los Gatos Celebrates Arbor Day

Town dignitaries and school children participate in tree planting activities at Blossom Hill Park.

The last Friday of April is Arbor Day, the holiday when people are encouraged to go out and plant a tree.

That's just what Los Gatans did Friday morning at Blossom Hill Park.

Los Gatos Mayor Joe Prizynski spoke about the town being part of the nonprofit Arbor Day Foundation for 31 years and the need for everyone to become good friends to the environment.
