The fundraising event, noon-5 p.m. May 19-20, Loma Prieta Winery, 26985 Loma Prieta Way, to help raise money for Los Gatos High School. Half of proceeds will be donated to LGHS New Millennium Foundation to fund teacher grant requests. Details: Carol Peske, 408-395-0625.

LOS GATOS SPRING WINE WALK

The Los Gatos Spring Wine Walk takes place 1:30-5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 19, with check-in at the alleyway located at 100 N. Santa Cruz Ave. Participants will sip tastings from more than 30 wineries pouring in shops and boutiques throughout Downtown Los Gatos and Old Town Shopping Center. Stop by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce office, 10 Station Way, for more wine tasting and the Wine Buy Booth. To purchase your individual $40 tickets, please click here, or call 408-354-9300. ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST

The submission deadline for the 's Visitors Bureau sixth is Monday, May 21. Photographers of all ages are invited to enter their best pics that will market the town and hillside wineries as a wonderful place to live, work and visit. A panel of local professional photographers will judge the contest and choose the winning entries. Their criteria will be based on technical merit, aesthetics and Los Gatos identity. Entrants will have at least one photo displayed at an award ceremony and Chamber Business After-Hours event held June 21 at the Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave. Details: 408-354-9300.

NATIONAL RIVER CLEANUP DAY

The Creek Connections Action Group, a consortium of public agencies and non-profit organizations that share a goal of protecting Santa Clara County's waterways, is hosting its National River Cleanup Day 9 a.m.-12 noon, Saturday, May 19. Volunteers will clean two spots along the Los Gatos Creek and Lexington Lexington Reservoir. LOS GATOS FOOD TRUCK FEST

For the third Friday now, between five and seven gourmet food trucks return to the parking lot, 18840 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd. 5-9 p.m., Friday, May 18, for a fun evening of eating, socializing and fun. There will also be craft beers and wine, outdoor seating, and live music by ZAP the Band. No entrance or parking fee. Music by ZAP the Band. The tentative truck lineup is SJ Scoops, Nom Nom, Sanguchon, Iz Its, Pollo Frito and Porkys. More events are being planned for May 25, June 1, 8, 15 and 22. CUT-A-THON FOR SHEA SHAW

A "Cut-A-Thon" fundraiser is being planned at the , 106 Royce Ave., in Los Gatos, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday, May 20 The event will help raise money to purchase a therapeutic chair to assist her needs as she continues her slow recovery.
