Last Chance: Bunny Fun Hunt, Teen Idol Contest, CASA Fashion Show and More

Up and coming event deadlines for a busy weekend, Rotary race, senior health fair and more.

We all do it. Forget to mark our calendars for upcoming Little League sign-ups, prom tickets or local business events and mixers. There are so many opportunities in Los Gatos that it can be hard to keep tabs on them all.

The following is a list of deadlines coming up. Take a look before it's your last chance!

CHILDREN

The 16th annual Bunny Fun Hunt takes place 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, in front of Los Gatos High School, 20 High School Ct. There will be egg hunts for different age groups as well as pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo and more. Admission is free. Details: 354-8700.

YOUTH

On Saturday, March 31, 1 and 4 p.m., more than 100 students will be walking down the runways of Community Against Substance Abuse or CASA's fashion show at the high school theater. The event's theme is "Miami in the Moonlight," and local retailers that have contributed to the show include:  , Francesca’s, Kitsch Couture, NC Board, Palapa Lounge Beachwear, Rouge, Sportissimo, Time Out Clothing, , Selix Formal Wear, In the Olde Manner, Cambric and Jos. A. Bank. General admission tickets are $25 while student tickets are $5. You may purchase tickets on the CASA site at www.casalg.org.

The presents the South Bay Teen Idol final competition 7-10 p.m., Saturday, March 31. Bay Teen Idol is a three-part amateur vocal competition awarding a $2,500 scholarship to the best teen vocalist in Santa Clara County. Vocalists from all backgrounds are competing for the top three scholarships. After fabulous Auditions on Jan. 29, and semi-finals on Feb. 9, judges have chosen the top 10 who will compete in the finals. Tickets range from $15 to $75 and can be purchased by clicking here. SENIORS

Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation is presenting a free health resource fair 1-4 p.m., Thursday, April 12, at the 208 E. Main St. The fair caters to residents older than 55 years of age and will cover several topics covered by participating agencies and vendors who will set up tables and booths to serve participants. NONPROFITS

BUSINESS

Main St., invites the public to its "Fireside Fridays," in the lobby from  5-7 p.m. for wine tasting paired with chocolates, featuring Burrell School, Silver Mountain and The Mountain wineries.  Tasting fee is $15. FITNESS/SPORTS
