Happy Valentine's Week!

Rather than just celebrating the holiday on Feb. 14, why not observe it all week long!

This is always one of my favorite weeks of the year. It's the week that my daughter was born ... in fact, today! Happy 11th Birthday, Chloe!

It's a week that I always reflect on my relationships with the people I love most in this world.

Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that doesn't require huge gifts for your loved ones but rather just the gift of telling someone that they are loved.

Small tokens like a text or a call or a card or a piece of chocolate are generally much appreciated.

Valentine's Day isn't just for your sweetheart, either. As for me, it applies to my parents, my siblings, my children and all of my very best friends as well as I genuinely do love all of those people who allow me to share in their lives.

Rather than celebrate only on the 14th while restaurants are packed, why don't we all celebrate our loved ones all week?!

Spend one whole week out of the 52 we have every year and make the most out of it!

My Valentine's Week is currently in progress! What's happening in yours?

Yes, we avoid going out to restaurants the day of. I love to put love notes in my kids lunches or somewhere my hubby is bound to find it. We find that, as with most things, it's about the thought not the amount of money. Enjoy your day tomorrow :)
