Event Akin to 'Antique Roadshow' Planned in Los Gatos!

History Club of Los Gatos is hosting "An Appraisal Affaire" on April 16 as fundraiser for Parisi House of Santa Clara County.

The History Club of Los Gatos is hosting "An Appraisal Affaire" on Wednesday, April 16  and attendees can bring up to three items for auction estimates.

Representatives of Clars Auction Gallery will be onhand to give verbal estimates in two sessions -- 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Fine art, jewelry, books and manuscripts, decorative art and furniture are among the items welcomed.

The event is at the History Club building at 123 Los Gatos Boulevard, and tickets are $30. Seating is limited, so reserve your seat.

The "Appraisal Affaire" is a fundraiser for Parisi House on the Hill, a residential drug and alcohol  treatment facility in Santa Clara County.

The LG History Club is a non-profit community, philanthropic organization. Since its founding in 1897, its primary focus has been toward supporting the welfare of women and children. Annually, the club spreads its resources throughout the community with an emphasis on health and education, i.e. schools, library, cultural, and social needs.

Parisi House on the Hill (Parisi House) is Santa Clara County’s first Not-for-Profit women-with-children residential alcohol and drug treatment facility.
