Coldwell Banker Los Gatos Raises $12K for Food, Gifts for Needy Families

The Los Gatos Coldwell Banker office team has raised $12,000 as part of this year's Operation Reindeer campaign to make the holidays a lot brighter for 30 local families in need.

The money will provide food and gifts for 118 children and parents. Agents and staff will now begin shopping, sorting, wrapping and delivering the gifts to low-income families, said Doug Evans, manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office.

"I couldn't be more proud of our team Los Gatos team," Evans said. "Their heartfelt generosity will make a big difference in the lives of these children and their parents. These donations can help a family in need carry on during some very difficult times and give them hope for a better future."

Evans said agents and staff at Coldwell Banker believe strongly in giving back to their local community, especially during the holiday season. "We've been blessed in our business and have enjoyed great success here in Los Gatos," he said. "It's only fitting that we should give back to the community that has supported us through the years."

In addition to Operation Reindeer, the Los Gatos sales associates and staff spend time every holiday season collecting toys as part of the Toys for Tots program and clothing for the Operation: One Warm Coat campaign.

The Los Gatos team also annually raises money and helps build homes for low-income families as part of Habitat for Humanity.
