Bunny Fun Hunt at Los Gatos High School

This week you or your children can check out the Easter Bunny, learn how to wage battle the medieval way or engage in an intreractive story hour or go on a university tour.

When/Where: 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Los Gatos High School, 20 High School Ct.

Why Go: Fun time for adults and children. Egg hunts for different age groups are scattered throughout the morning. But then there are also pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo and more. So even when it's not your child's turn for the egg hunt, he or she will find plenty to do. And so will you!

When/Where: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Children's Discovery Museum, 180 Woz Way, San Jose.

Why Go:  The museum has its own pre-Earth Day program to let kids know just how easy it can be to be green. Different conservation and environmental organizations will be on site for the next three days to show kids how to live green. 

Pricing:  $10 (museum admission)

When/Where: 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Automobuild, 21 W Main St.

Why Go: Take your kids for a story hour and to explore and to check out the newest toys at Automobuild. This will be an interactive story hour and a toy demonstration—and will include snacks!  This story hour is ideal for children age 3 and up.

Pricing:  Free

When/Where: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Vasona County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd.

Why Go:  Learn about medieval style fighting! Safe foam weapons will be provided while you learn blocks and attacks. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Must be 15 years or older and be accompanied by an adult. Meet in the Gateway Pavilion parking lot.

When/Where: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; , 1156 High St., Santa Cruz.
