Pease join our town in honoring our nation's fallen soldiers 10 a.m.-noon, Monday, May 30, at the , 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, for a Memorial Day Service to tribute to our veterans and those who served our nation in all capacities and their family members. 3. The Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department and Community Against Substance Abuse is having a prescription drug disposal event 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, June 4, at 41 Miles Ave. The public is encouraged to drive-thru and drop off unused and expired prescription drugs to safely dispose. In 2009, 20 percent of U.S. high school students had taken a prescription drug without a doctor's prescription. Teens also misuse over-the-counter medications. Details: 714-299-6457.

4. Don't miss the "In the Abstract" exhibit noon-4 p.m., Wednesdays-Sundays, at the, 4 Tait Ave. The exhibit features works by abstract artists Ewa Gavriellov (prints), Paula Schales (sculpture) and Neal Boor (paintings). 5. Hope you're in the mood for the Moody Blues. is hosting this concert tonight at 7:30 p.m., May 27, 14831 Pierce Rd., in Saratoga, to honor the music of the '60s and '70s group The Moody Blues. If you're lucky, the band will perform its never-to-be-forgotten song, "Nights in White Satin" and other pieces from their 1967 album Days of Future Passed. Tickets are $49.50 - $99.50.
