Coming straight after the busy Passover holiday season, Chabad of S. Jose is relaunching a weekly Torah Studies class that will explore Judaism’s relevance in modern life.

Classes will be at the Malka Peck Chabad Center, 15405 Los Gatos Blvd. in Los Gatos beginning Wednesday, April 30, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and continue for 12 consecutive Wednesday evenings.

“This course is truly novel in the way it probes the depths of classic Jewish thought to address the issues we face in contemporary Jewish life”, says Rabbi Aaron Cunin, the course instructor.
Like all Chabad’s courses, this latest adult education offering is designed for people at all levels of Jewish knowledge.

Topics will include realizing your true potential, human struggle and the power of a single action, plus holiday-themed classes -- for Purim and Passover.
“Whether you consider yourself a Reform, Conservative, Orthodox or an unaffiliated Jew this class will bring meaning and insight which will enhance your holidays no matter where you attend services” said Cunin.

“We are so sure that people will enjoy it that we invite anyone interested to attend the first lesson free, with no obligation.”

The fee for the entire course is $100, which includes the course textbook.

Students are invited to call Chabad at 408-358-5530 to enroll or visit www.chabadsj.com.
