“CPR in Motion” Training Event

San Jose, CA. Some Southwest Airlines passengers who are flying on Thursday, September 19th will have a unique opportunity to receive life-saving knowledge, as they wait to board their flights at Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport.

 

They will be trained in hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Training will be offered in both English and Spanish. Passengers will also receive written information about hands-only CPR, and certificates will be given to passengers following the training.

Media is invited to attend the training from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Photo and video opportunities will be available. Representatives from Santa Clara County Ambulance, Santa Clara County EMS, Southwest Airlines, and San José International Airport will be in attendance and available for interviews.
