The Performing Arts Department at Los Gatos High School is pleased to present ALL SHOOK UP, an uproarious musical comedy inspired by and featuring the classic hits of Elvis Presley and loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Performances: March 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 at 7:30 pm at the Los Gatos High School Theatre.
It's 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides Chad, a guitar-playing roustabout, who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that'll have you jumpin' out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Don't Be Cruel."
Led by director LGHS theatre manager Tim Nielson, a talented cast will transport audiences to a bygone era where the Mamie Eisenhower Decency Act has outlawed "loud music, public necking, and tight pants." Will the power of love and rock-and-roll change the town forever? You’ll have to come see the show to find out!

Per tradition, the production has chosen a fundraising tie-in. This year we will raise funds for Heart to Heart, (haiti.hearttoheart.org) an international organization that set up community clinics in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. Heart to Heart works in the community pairing American volunteer doctors and nurses with Haitian colleagues. Haiti is a place that was truly "all shook up" —there's still a ton of rebuilding to do.
Directed by Tim Nielson
