This month alone, the Levy Family Campus (LFC) (the location owned and operated by Federation in Los Gatos) is responsible for food drives for Second Harvest Food Bank and a school supply drive benefiting foster children in collaboration with Sleep Train.

Our local Jewish Family Services, also located at LFC, has partnered with the Los Gatos to receive 5 cents back on every plastic bag saved through September. This money goes to Project Noah, which fed nearly 1,100 people last year. Jewish Family Services serves people from all faiths and backgrounds.

In addition to all the good done in Los Gatos and the surrounding communities, the money raised by Federation also guarantees a platform for responding in emergencies, locally, overseas and in Israel. When the the earthquake struck Haiti the Israeli Defense Force was first on the ground, when the tsunami hit Japan the Federation was the first locally to open a donation box.
