On Friday, Apr 12, I received a political flyer in the mail from your group endorsing Kevin JensenRead More for Santa Clara County Sheriff. It claims that he leads with INTEGRITY .... Well, here's my dilemma ... I'm not sure what's supposed to be meant by serving the community with INTEGRITY. All my life I've strived to maintain my privacy and those I work with and love. This includes shredding documents with personal information, etc... to avoid IDENTITY THEFT ... However ... Your flyer stripped me of MY PRIVACY ... on the back of the flyer in BIG, BOLD, BLUE LETTERS it lists: my name, address, phone number [which is incorrect] and date of birth. I am mortified to know that your group who is supporting someone who is sworn to protect our community has without thought put everyone's identity in harms way. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. This could have been easily resolved by using envelopes or designing the flyer differently. What's wrong with a little extra thought or cost to protect the people he is campaigning to serve? This practice should be changed - IMMEDIATELY - as one NEVER KNOWS who might be rummaging through someone's mail. I tried calling the number on the flyer 916-442-2952 but got a wrong number and someone who was not happy getting such calls. Further the number they gave me 408-295-1500 never has a real person answering it .. just a message saying "no one is in the office". This is so sad, so sad. A simple considerate thought could have prevented all this. We live in a differently world today than we were raised in, let's strive to be sure we keep it as safe as possible for all. LMiller
