APRIL SHOWER DANCE PARTY AT LG YOUTH RECREATION CENTER

Los Gatos High School students will be treating residents ages 55 and older to an April Shower Dance Party 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Los Gatos Youth Recreation Center, 123 E. MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR PETER CARTER

The memorial service for beloved Los Gatos resident Peter Carter, who unexpectedly died March 6 after falling at his home on Broadway, is being planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Mission Church at Santa Clara University, 500 El Camino Real, in Santa Clara. A memorial has also been set up to build a permanent stage in the Town of Los Gatos Civic Center in his honor. To contribute, please make checks payable to: LGMA Peter S. THE MUSEUMS OF LOS GATOS' EXHIBIT PERPETUATION OF MYTH

The Museums of Los Gatos presents Perpetuation of Myth, a new exhibition at The Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave. Perpetuation of Myth, curated by Nazanin Hedayat Munroe is on view through April 14. Perpetuation of Myth showcases the work of four Iranian-American artists with roots in the Bay Area whose works contemplate history, poetry and universal issues of connecting to heritage through art. EVOLUTION OF GREEN: ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM IN SANTA CLARA VALLEY
