Los Gatos Police Blotter, Jan. 1-7: $10K Stolen in Residential Burglary

Sunday, Jan. 1

3:56 a.m., Los Gatos Boulevard and Shannon Road: Briana Maureen Brostrom was arrested for driving under the influence. 

6:17 a.m., 16400 Harwood Rd: An incident of vandalism was reported online.

11:06 a.m., 14675 Winchester Blvd: A vehicle window was smashed in an attempted auto burglary. It is unknown as of yet whether anything was missing from inside.

11:50 a.m., 315 Belblossom Wy: An incident of vandalism was reported online.

1:27 p.m., 17321 Valley Oak Dr: A residential burglary was reported.

3:19 p.m., 221 Drakes Bay Ave: An incident of vandalism was reported online.

Monday, Jan. 2

10:03 a.m., 14850 Oka Rd: A victim reported that a male suspect continuously called her and visited her home without warning.

10:19 p.m., 100 Leewood Ct: After a disturbance occurred, two suspects, Tammy Lynn Sousa and Kourosh Etessam, were arrested for warrants and cocaine possession, respectively.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

Early morning, Belvue Drive: An incident of grand theft occurred.

12:31 p.m., 102 Massol Ave: A Toyota's catalytic converter was reported stolen.

2:01 p.m., 31 University Ave: Propane tanks were stolen from a business after an unknown suspect cut the storage container's lock outside.

3:38 p.m., 470 N Santa Cruz Ave: After an incident of commercial burglary, two female suspects were arrested. Razors were found in their possession with the Safeway store number printed on the packs.

4:00 p.m., Gemini Court: An incident of petty theft occurred.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

Morning, Shannon Road: An incident of petty theft occurred.

8:44 a.m., 20105 Foster Rd: In an incident of vandalism, a residence was damaged.

9:27 a.m., 15930 Rose Ave: A check was stolen and cashed by unknown suspects.

1:48 p.m., 14353 Oka Ln: A catalytic converter was reported stolen over the night.

Thursday, Jan. 5

2:58 a.m., 102 Perkins Ct: An incident involving mental health occurred.

5:30 p.m., Oka Road: An incident of auto buglary occurred.

Friday, Jan. 6

1:39 a.m., Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and University Avenue: Timothy Wayne Peoples was arrested for driving under the influence.

1:56 a.m., 15043 Los Gatos Blvd: Russell Todd Condie and Chadwick George Bodway were arrested for being drunk in public after officers responded to a disturbance at a bar and found the pair in the street.

9:19 a.m., 14675 Winchester Blvd: Robert Luke Hopkins and Heather Ann Inamasu were arrested after officers responded to reports of suspicious persons looking into vehicles outside a club; police found burglary tools and stolen property on their persons.

1:08 p.m., Alpine Avenue: In an incident of fraud, a victim was involved in an internet scam.

7:17 p.m., Hicks Road: A domestic violence restraining order was violated.

7:19 p.m., 423 N Santa Cruz Ave: Marcos Salazar was arrested for a warrant after officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

7:19 p.m., 211 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd: David Michael Niemiec was cited when police confronted him behind a liquor store and found him to have an outstanding warrant.

Saturday, Jan. 7

4:52 a.m., 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd: Tracie Lynn Cortez was arrested for driving with a suspended license and under the influence of a controlled substance.

11:54 a.m., 110 Oak Rim Ct: An iPod was stolen after a parked vehicle window was smashed in an incident of auto burglary.

2:09 p.m., Carlester Drive: A purse was found in front of someone's residence.

6:00 p.m., Belgatos Road: Approximately $10,000 worth of items was stolen in an incident of residential burglary during daytime hours.

11:28 p.m., Unknown location: A juvenile was reported missing.
